Something wonderful will happen this year

Karina reminded me of an amazing quote that Olive often recites before bed:

“Tomorrow is going to be a great day.”

At only 11, I’m not sure when or how she established this positivity ritual, but I love it.

Lately while powering through the demands and stresses of the holiday season, it has been so easy to identify dozens of challenges, and ‘first world’ problems plaguing life, allowing them to overshadow the good fortune of our privileged existence.

For 2025 I’m going to borrow a page from Olive’s playbook and recite a recent mantra I picked up from Instagram:

“Something wonderful is going to happen today (or tomorrow)”

More importantly, I know that “something wonderful will happen this year”.

With this mindset, I can guarantee that it most definitely will.

  • Now that’s a peak ethos.
