Parking Lot Intuition
I have a habit of glancing around the parking lot moments before starting a work day, quickly informing me of who will be waiting on the other side of the door.
Recently, I noticed that there are tangible feelings associated with certain vehicles.
Seeing some cars will cause instantaneous excitement, the hint of impending fun, and the promise of a great day ahead.
Conversely, other vehicles will elicit a general sense of ‘blah’, or possibly no response at all.
This ‘parking lot scan’ is far from scientific, yet it is also a very real gauge for the quality of colleagues and workplace.
When you find that most of the vehicles in the lot ‘excite’ you, trust the sensation, and know that you are in the right place.
Now that’s a peak ethos.
