Leave 2023 ‘richer’

As the end of the most challenging teaching semester of my career comes to a close, I am reflecting on all the lessons learned through pain.

One lesson that stands out is to ‘trust my gut’.

I had some reservations (anxious feelings) before accepting the role but my ego and excitement caused me to ignore it.

With the abundance of opportunities available, and our finite amount of time, I will remember to trust my instincts going forward.

Every moment is an opportunity to move either forward or backward. It is my goal to leave each day richer than I started. Richer in experience, joy, relationships, wealth, etc.

Be intentional about leaving 2023 richer than you began. Learn from mistakes, take on new challenges, and trust yourself.
