First bus ride ever!

As we approached the end of her second year of school It was kind of sad to hear Hazel say “I’ve never been on a school bus before”. COVID has identified so many parts of our lives that we have taken for granted, with riding a school bus for field trips being one of these.

The idea that a simple school bus ride was so exciting for Hazel, taught a very quick lesson in relativity and fortune.

A ride on the bus with friends is amazing relative to never having the experience.

We are fortunate to live in a prosperous society where having basic transportation, services, and communal connection are second nature.

This is a reminder that events and experiences are great, even when they are simple.

Don’t take the little things for granted.

  • Now that’s a peak ethos.
