Family Feedback
We had a very special parent teacher interview this week as I sat down with Hazel’s teacher, who is also her mother, in a classroom where I had substituted only a day earlier. Suffice to say, we have a pretty good handle on Hazel’s learning progress in grade four.
Despite this, we still took the time to go through some noteworthy observations from Hazel’s class, and unsurprisingly, I did glean a few fun new facts. Her reading level has progressed well, and maybe just maybe, she could craft less during instructional time.
Feedback is a gift, and when given from a trusted person, in good faith, you can never get enough of it.
Now that’s a peak ethos.
