Don't be a picky pants!
My daughter Olive recently informed me that although I am usually cheery, I sometimes get "fussy" with people. She has also mentioned on numerous occasions how "crispy" my hands are (workman hands). Also in a fit of rage she told her sister to "stop being such a picky pants".
Since each of these instances, I have made a point of adopting new 'kid language' into my daily vernacular. Not only is it fun as heck, but kids do a great job of emulating creativity and raw emotion. It has an innocent beauty that is just hard not to love.
Why don't you stop being a 'picky pants' and add some flavour to your own language repertoire.
Practice great listening to the young ones in your world and get ready to have fun.
- Now that's a peak ethos.
