Best day ever!

This week our family tried a new game.

We pretend that we have been ‘beamed’ into the best day ever, and it is our job to go through the day to discover why.

At suppertime each day the girls always had a reason why it was the best:

“Most fun skating session”

“Funniest classroom laugh”

“Best basketball practice!”

Etc.

Standing at our gate at 7:30 am morning, before we’d even left the yard, 

I had already found mine. 

A majestic nature scene, 

a beautiful sunrise, 

a fresh snowfall,

and happy and healthy girls laughing.

• Now that’s a peak ethos.
